The sky is burning gold at the setting of the sun
Fishing boats returning to the bay
Turning to the harbour now the working day is done
The sun reflecting brightly on the waves
Welcome home again, Dingle Bay
Welcome home again, Dingle Bay
There's a dolphin playing hide and seek as the pleasure craft move in
Everyone is smiling 'cos he's here
Suddenly appearing as the children call his name
Faithfully returning every year
Welcome home again, Dingle Bay
Welcome home again, Dingle Bay
When the sun is going down and the colours start to fade
I may be many miles away
But I can close my eyes and remember yesterday
And listen as the waters seem to say
Welcome home again, Dingle Bay
Welcome home again, Dingle Bay
There beneath the blanket of a million shining stars
We can sleep the quiet night away
And waken with the morning sun to welcome the new day
Welcome home again, Dingle Bay
Welcome home again, Dingle Bay
